A Denver charity group dedicated to supporting breast cancer research and awareness, Men for the Cure brings together prominent figures from the Denver area and beyond to join this cause. Founded in 2000 by Sharon Magness Blake and Ed Greene, the organization has sponsored events at locations such as Sports Authority Field and XJet World Hangar.
In recent years, Men for the Cure has attracted prominent speakers to its events, including Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper, Aurora Mayor Ed Tauer, and Molson Coors Brewing Company Chairman Pete Coors. Since its founding more than a decade ago, the group has raised over $1.2 million to support breast cancer research, health care, and early detection outreach programs. Three years ago, the organization officially became a part of the University of Colorado Hospital Foundation.
